On May 9, 2025, Viva Courts Hotel Kagadi played host to a momentous occasion as Kagadi Institute of Science and Technology (KISTEC) held its inaugural graduation ceremony. Thirty determined students received DIT certificates in various courses, marking a significant milestone in their journey towards self-reliance.

Kagadi District Resident Commissioner, Mr. Benjamin Tumusiime, emphasized that wealth isn’t solely dependent on riches, but rather on individual contributions to national development. He urged graduands to leverage government initiatives like Emyoga, PDM, and Youth Livelihood Programme.

Key Takeaways:

  1. Focus on quality to drive business success.
  2. Collaboration between KISTEC and district leaders to empower more youth.
  3. Emphasis on collective responsibility for Uganda’s development.

We commend the graduands on their achievement and look forward to witnessing their future successes!
