On May 9, 2025, Viva Courts Hotel Kagadi buzzed with excitement as Kagadi Institute of Science and Technology (KISTEC) held its inaugural graduation ceremony. Thirty determined students received certificates from the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) in various trades, marking a significant milestone in their journey towards self-reliance.
The LC5 Chairperson, Hon. Ndibwami B Yosia, emphasized the importance of integrity in serving clients, stating that honesty is crucial for maximizing benefits from acquired skills. He also urged parents to prioritize supporting students accessing vocational skills, enabling KISTEC to fulfill its obligations.
Hon. Ndibwami B Yosia applauded KISTEC’s Board and Management for empowering youth through skills development. He pledged the district’s total support to ensure the institution’s vision and mission are achieved.
